James is an experienced, confident, and motivated Business Analyst with over 8 years of experience across diverse domains, including corporate and business registries, life sciences, and energy.
 
James is dedicated to advancing best practices within the Business Analysis profession. He has a strong passion for helping individuals transition into Business Analysis roles.
 
He works closely with Business Analysis Professionals at all stages of their careers, offering coaching, mentoring, and practical guidance to help them refine their skills and overcome challenges in today’s fast-evolving landscape.
 
Specialising in requirements elicitation, process modeling, process optimisation, and requirements analysis, James is known for his ability to simplify complex concepts, making them more accessible for better understanding.
 
He leads workshops and consultations, focusing on real-world scenarios to help professionals enhance their practical skills and apply them effectively in the workplace.
 
James holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Honours Degree in IT Management and has earned the ECBA (Entry Certificate in Business Analysis) and Agile Analysis Certificate (AAC) from IIBA, as well as the Professional Scrum Product Owner I (PSPO I) certification from scrum.org.
 
As President of the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) Ireland Chapter, James plays a key role in shaping chapter strategies, organising events, and mentoring fellow professionals.
 
He was a finalist for the 2024 IIBA Volunteer of the Year Award.
 
Outside of work, James is a dancer and a twin.
